Zhou Tian, male, Han nationality, born in 1980, Doctor of Engineering, professor, doctoral supervisor. In 1996, he entered the College of Underwater Acoustic Engineering of Harbin Engineering University and received his bachelor's degree, master's degree and Doctor's degree in 2000, 2002 and 2005, majoring in Acoustic Electronic Engineering, Signal and Information Processing and Communication and information system respectively. In 2005, he stayed at school for teaching and was promoted to associate professor in 2007 ,then was promoted to professor in 2013. In 2015, he served as executive deputy director of the National Experimental Teaching Center of Underwater Acoustic Engineering, and in August 2016, he served as deputy dean of teaching of the College of Underwater Acoustic Engineering.
He mainly teaches the undergraduate course "DSP Devices and Applications" and the postgraduate course "Introduction to Sonar Electronic System Design". His main research directions are underwater acoustic target detection and location, underwater acoustic signal processing, sonar system design, seabed topography and geomorphology. He has presided over and participated in more than 30 national and provincial research projects related to the research direction, including national science and technology major projects, more than 10 National Natural Science Foundation, Three "863" program projects of the National Ministry of Science and Technology, and one key international cooperation project of the National Ministry of Science and Technology. He has won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress of Heilongjiang Province, the second prize of Science and Technology Progress of Zhejiang Province, the National Invention Patent Excellence Award and the second prize of Technology invention of Marine Engineering Science and Technology Award. He has published more than 60 articles, of which more than 40 have been retrieved by SCI and EI, applied for 8 national invention patents, and participated in the compilation of 2 textbooks. He has won the honorary title of excellent master's thesis advisor, advanced worker of the university, advanced individual of young teachers' ethics and style.
