The Underwater Target Acoustic Sensing Technology and Equipment Research Team is one of the academic innovation teams of the college of Underwater Acoustic Engineering of Harbin Engineering University, which mainly supports the underwater high-frequency and acoustic detection discipline direction of the A+ discipline of ship and ocean engineering. The basic theory, key technology and application of multi-beam sounding and bottom classification, acoustic imaging and target recognition are studied, and relevant underwater acoustic equipment prototypes are developed and popularized. The team has 13 faculty members, including two professors, four associate professors, two lecturers, two postdoctors and three full-time researchers. Team has national high-level talents such as Changjiang Scholars.
