In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the third time of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection of universities, and implement the "Five Adherences and Five Emphases" principle of education, on December 14th, the "Marine Equipment and Information Technology" Outstanding Youth Forum, guided by the Science and Technology Department of Heilongjiang Province and the Heilongjiang Science and Technology Association, and hosted by Harbin Engineering University, was grandly held in the library. The forum invited more than 100 domestic experts to conduct academic exchanges and showcase the new trends, achievements, and experiences in the field of marine equipment and information technology in China. Gao Yan, Secretary of the University Party Committee, Liu Aili, First level Inspector of the Science and Technology Department of Heilongjiang Province, and Zhang Xiaoyan, Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Heilongjiang Science and Technology Association, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Yu Zhiwen, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President, presided over the opening ceremony.

  The sub-forum of "Marine Information Technology" co-sponsored by the National Key Laboratory of Underwater Acoustic Technology, College of Underwater  Acoustic Engineering and College of Information and Communication Engineering was held in the VIP conference room of Harbin Engineering Center. Yin Jingwei, Vice President of Harbin Engineering University, attended the sub-forum and delivered a speech. Han Xiao, Deputy Secretary general of the University Science and Technology Association, and Ma Lu, professor of College of Underwater  Acoustic, presided over the meeting.

  Focusing on the development frontiers and trends in the field of Marine information technology, Professor Chi Nan of Fudan University made a report entitled "Core chips and Key Technologies of Underwater Visible Light Communication", and Professor Guo Lei of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications made a report entitled "Wireless Optical Communication Technology and Application". Professor Zhang Haijun from University of Science and Technology Beijing gave a report entitled "Key Technologies of future NTN Networks for Marine Applications", Professor Xing Chengwen from Beijing Institute of Technology gave a report entitled "Signal Processing of Space and Space Communication arrays", Professor Jiang Weixiang from Southeast University gave a report entitled "Cross-media Communication Based on the Metasurface of Optoelectronic Information". Professor Liu Songzuo of Harbin Engineering University made a report entitled "Research on Underwater Acoustic Communication and Reconnaissance Technology", and conducted in-depth academic discussion and interaction with the experts.

  This forum provides a good academic exchange platform for experts and scholars in the field of Marine information technology, provides an opportunity to stimulate innovative thinking, promote interdisciplinary integration, inspire scientific research ideas, and help the development of Marine information technology.
