The Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council have decided to launch the "National Engineer Award" commendation.
On January 19th, the "National Engineer Award" recognition ceremony was held at the Great Hall of the People, where 81 individuals were awarded the title of "National Outstanding Engineer" and 50 teams were awarded the title of "National Outstanding Engineer Team". 85-level alumni of the Institute of Underwater Acoustic Engineering, Liu Qingyu, who is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and 88-level alumnus Du Xuanmin, were awarded the "National Outstanding Engineer Award" title.
