On February 28, the inaugural meeting of academic committee for the Key Laboratory of Marine Information Acquisition and Security of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was held. The key laboratory academic committee, led by 9 academicians and consists of 10 top experts in Marine information related fields, was formally established.
Yu Yao, the President of Harbin Engineering University, presented the appointment letters for members of the academic committee and delivered a speech. Vice president Zhijian Zhang and Academician Desen Yang presided over the meeting.
On February 28, the first Shenzhen Marine Information Technology and Equipment Summit Forum was held in Shenzhen Wu Zhou Guest House. Six academicians gave keynote speeches on Marine information. President Yu Yao presided over the Forum.
